It is only available on DirectTV and not cable or any other satellite TV provider. That being said, lets get ready for another season of arm chair quarterbacks.
Do you love the Tampa Bay Buccaneers? Of course you do why else would you be here. You probably also love the Tampa Bay Rays too. You just cheer anything that comes out of The Bay Area, don’t you? Tampa Bay has a way of upsetting the competition and stealing the spotlight from other teams. This past year, Tampa Bay played their 32nd season and ended with a 9-7 record. All though an uneven record, still won them the NFC South Title and a trip to the playoffs.
This season competition is increasing and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers supporters are gearing up for another season-stealing performance. In the off season the team re-signed some of the biggest talent, including Michael Bennett, Antoine Cash, Kevin Carter, Sammy Davis, Jerramy Stevens and Jake Plummer. A good thing they did because the team had to say goodbye to six other players who were released or who sought out sunnier pastures elsewhere. The biggest losses include Brian Kelly, John Wade, Matt Lehr and Anthony Becht.
Everybody’s eyes were on the NFL 2008 Draft, in which the Tampa Bay Buccaneers chose seven top ranked players in the nation. The first draft pick was cornerback Aqib Talib from Kansas, who many experts believe may be just as high a risk as he is a high rewards player. Wide receiver Dexter Jackson was also questioned because of his small size, though his accolades are hard to ignore. Josh Johnson was a controversial choice, as he may have the potential to become a starter, but if so, would be intruding on the team’s other quarterbacks. The consensus is that NFL experts were disappointed by the team’s choices, especially offensively, whereas loyal fans were still intrigued by some of the picks.
Elsewhere in Tampa Bay news, quarterback Chris Simms is apparently still at odds with coach Jon Gruden. Simms, who hasn't played in a regular-season game since being injured in September 2006, chose to skip the team's mandatory three-day mini-camp in June. Simms later commented on the matter, stating in no uncertain terms “The relationship between me and coach Gruden, it’s broken.”
