Holy crap, the Oakland Raiders suck! How do you take a once proud franchise and systematically drain it down the toilet? John Madden, put down the turkey leg and race your Winnebago straight to Oakland and do something about this please!
The NFL’s #1 draft pick JaMarcus Russell has been reduced to goo in the soul sucking California sun. Sunday Russell was 6-19, 31 yards, and interception and four sacks. Wait a minute, wasn’t (isn’t) Tom Cable an Offensive line coach?
When I watched JaMarcus Russell at LSU I was in awe. The man was a mountain of amazing football ability. I thought he would do much like Vince Young and really be successful in the NFL. No such luck. He landed in the giant pile of crap in Oakland .
They might as well start Al Davis at quarterback, first they would save money, and secondly he would probably produce as well as Russell surrounded by that cast of jokers .I don’t mean to be cruel but I can’t stand watching stupidity. There are worse teams (record wise) in the NFL right now like Kansas City and Detroit , but at least their trying to get better! These other teams are making acquisitions and moves to improve their status, not just wallowing in a gene pool of their own uselessness.
In late September the Raiders fired Lane Kiffin. Interim coach Tom Cable has since only been able to coach the team to 2 touchdowns, averaging 7.3 points per game and 220 yards. In the NFL’s worst performance since 2004, the Raiders were demolished on Sunday with a disgusting 77 yards of total offense, 3 first downs and no points. No point, that leads me to my next one.
In an ever improving decision making atmosphere in Oakland , the Raiders cope with the previous week’s decimation by getting rid of one of the only players on the roster who could play. Wednesday the Raiders cut DeAngelo Hall. I have heard of different coaching strategies, but getting rid of your good players isn’t one of them. The team and the world were shocked by this glorious display of idiocy.
Cable’s head on a platter! That’s what I call for. Ship John Madden back to town, get Warren Sapp off of the ballroom dance floor and make him play football! Someone, anyone, tell All Davis to stop talking to that palm tree in the corner, it is not his personal advisor! Oakland needs some real leadership, a real coach, and some sense about them. If I know this, how do they not know it? And no, you can’t have Jon Gruden back; he belongs to us in Tampa .
